  • Go to your dashboard.
  • Click on “Posts” or “Pages” on the left side.
  • Make a new post or page (or pick one you already made).
  • Look at the settings on the right side called Summary.
  • If you can’t find “Post/Page Settings,” click on the settings icon next to “Publish.” It looks like a square with two different-sized columns. Then, click on the “Immediately” link. This opens a calendar where you can choose when your post or page should go live.
  • Choose the date and time you want.
  • Click “Schedule” or “Update” to set the date and time for your post or page.
  • If you’ve already scheduled a post, you’ll see a dot under that date on the calendar. It’s shown under July 9th in the image on the right. If you decide you don’t want to wait for a post or page you scheduled to go live later, you can make it publish right away instead. Just do these steps:

  1. Follow the same steps you did to schedule a post or page.
  2. In the calendar, choose the current date and time.
  3. Or, click on the “Now” link to make it publish immediately.

Mastering post and page scheduling in WordPress

To change the date of a post or page, follow these steps: First, navigate to the dashboard. Then, click on “Posts” or “Pages” from the menu on the left. Next, create a new post or page or select an existing one. In the settings on the right side, locate the option called “Publish”. If you don’t see it, click on the settings icon next to “Publish”. This will reveal a calendar where you can select a date in the past for your post or page. After choosing the desired date, click on “Publish”.

In the case of rescheduling a post, no additional email notifications are sent to subscribers. If you want subscribers to be notified of the change, consider creating a copy of the post and publishing it as a new one.

To unschedule a post or page, repeat the steps for scheduling. In the scheduling calendar, choose the current date and time or click on the “Now” link to publish the content immediately.
